In South Beach we all fell in love with two very different best friends. We enjoyed their silly girl drama and cried over broken hearts. In the just as incredible sequel the girls are back for another amazing Spring Break. Holly has just had a fight with her year long boyfriend Tyler and is now off to England. Alexa and her lover boy are off to Paris, the city of love. But when Alexa and said boyfriend break up its bound to be one big en cas de catastrophe, disaster. Will the girls friendship survive when they are reunited over these circumstances or is there friendship about to end?
I really enjoyed this book which discusses the probability of broken hearts. So many books end well for everyone in the most expected way and although this had a happy ending it was not what I expected. I recommend this romantic novel to all females. You will realize just how important best friends are.

Bad Girls Club interview
What inspired you to write this incredibly descriptive book?
I grew up in a home with 2 alcoholic parents and the family disintegrated one summer and my mother left. It was the defining moment in my life, the day my mom left, and it changed me forever in so many ways. As I got older, I realized that many people grew up in very dysfunctional homes, some with alcoholic or drug addicted, mentally ill, or abusive parents. And all of us, those who had lived in homes like that, really struggled with issues of self-worth. I was able to overcome my demons, but I've met many people who did not. So, I wanted to write a book that highlighted that kind of growing up and also what it would take to overcome the feeling that you have no value and no one cares for you. I wanted kids to know that they do have value but that they have to find it in themselves and they have to believe in it, even if no one in their family does. I thought that if I wrote a book that shows a girl in this situation and the reality of what it took for her to believe that she had worth that it might speak to a teen who struggles with the same.
The Des and Cassidy are to very different people. Do you feel that was important to the story?
What advice would you give to a friend who knows their friend is being abused?
Who would you recommend an child talk to if they are afraid of talking to the cops?
Any more books from you in the future?
What advice would you give to someone who wants to right a book?
Bad Girls Club
Destiny's life hasn't always been this bad. There was a time when her mom loved her, there was a time when her mom seemed a lot less psycho. But things are bad now. Poor little Cassidy is only five yet is already used to being knocked around. She does not remember a time her mother loved her, because there never was a time. From day one she has been hated and abused. Her only sense of real love is her big sister, Des. Life continues on from day to day as there mothers darkness grasps them. But when will enough finally be enough?
With so many books about physical abuse out there we never seem to find one that surely shows both physical and emotional aspects of it. This novel had many parts that truly shocked me. How could a mother not love her baby? That is the mothers job in most of our families! This makes you realize that its out there but the people experiencing it are to good at keeping it quiet. Mental illness is a condition many Americans face daily, June, is an example of what happens when you are unwilling to get better. I would defiantly recommend this book to everyone. I do beleive we can make a difference in our friends lives if we read between the lines of abuse.

Bloggers note: If you or someone you know is being abused dont let it continue. I Know it can seem horrible to have your friend hate you for telling but it would feel a lot worse finding out they were killed.
