Being Nikki

Cover Image
Title: Being Nikki
Author: Meg Cabot
Grade: A
Rating: Pg-13
Summary: Nikki, or should I say Em, has it all. Not only is she on every billboard in town, she is about to star in a lingerie fashion show. Every girl dreams of having the kind of body capable of doing that. The sad thing is though; Nikki/Em just wants a certain guy to notice her. But when he does will it is too late? The drama increases when the real Nikki’s mom disappears. Nobody said it was going to be easy, Being Nikki.

My thoughts: I honest to god loved this book. Anyone who knows me knows I’m a realistic fiction addict and pretty stuck in my ways. Being Nikki drug me into the realms of a place I have kept my self from traveling. It was awesome to explore all the unique matters Being Nikki had to offer. As for Meg, what a well rounded author!

Recommendation: I would say this is a great novel for anyone in 7th grade and up. There are some tense scenes that could possibly be scary for the younger crowd.

Up Next: And Then Everything Unraveled
